Interviewing Your Inner Critic
Learn to notice, acknowledge, and begin to challenge the voices inside your head that put the brakes on, when you want to hit the gas. We’ll be doing an 11-minute guided reflection, to interview one of your inner critics, so they can start working for you, instead of the other way around. Find a quiet space, where you'll be uninterrupted, and have a pen and paper to record your reflection or include it in this accompanying WORKSHEET.
PROMPT: “Bring to mind something you’re stuck on, second guessing yourself for, or where you may fear losing credibility, acceptance, or approval”
Reflection inspired by the Internal Family Systems model.
If you haven't yet, check out this post I wrote on the concept behind 'Talking Yourself Into What You Want – Learning from Your Inner Critic' for more context and research behind this reflection. Cheers to doing some serious Inside, Out work!
